My camera is back!!!!

Story Time

I feel like I have my right hand back....and the new camera is even better than my original one! I've got some new pieces "on the shelf" in my etsy shop and I thought I would show you another piece that will be featured at the Rock Ledge Show next month. This is a really large piece....28"....and I really love how it came out. Witch Hettie May is reading a ghost story to her little friend Benjamin. Her eyes aren't what they used to be so she is wearing her reading glasses. Benjamin is not enjoying the story at all and Hettie does not seem to notice and just keeps reading on......

Holly Berry House Delivery...

Well, I had to do it again! I had to pretty much empty my etsy shop and make a run down today to Holly Berry House. Here are a couple of the pieces that are now at the store....I took these photos for the etsy shop before my camera died. This is the last delivery to the store until later in September.  Now I have to concentrate on building my inventory for the Rock Ledge show but I will post more about that later. It's hard to believe that Fall is almost here but you can now feel it in the air....there is a definite nip in the air in the early morning before the sun heats up the day. September 1st my harvest decorating is going up: all my fall garlands, wreaths and pumpkins!

Lastly, I received an email from the camera repair company in Illinois and they have told Kodak to replace my camera! So I should be receiving my new camera around the 1st of September....yipppeeee!

A little Christmas in August....

This little fairy is sledding in a demitasse cup...she has secreted out of the kitchen cupboard she lives in and is sledding up and down the hill outside the kitchen door! This was one of the last photos I took before my camera died...this piece has sold but am making more just like it so posted this photo back in my etsy as I will have more to sell. I really love how this piece came out...it has so much movement and it is just pure fun!
UPS delivered my camera to the repair company in Illnois yesterday so hoping that I will have it back by the end of August/beginning of September....I feel like my right hand is gone!

Sneak-a-Boo!

   Here is a little sneak peek.....I took a quick snapshot of some of the pieces that will be making their way to the Rock Ledge Ranch Folk Art Festival this coming September. They are just waiting to be tagged and boxed up. Well, it's back to my enchanted work table.

   Also, just wanted to thank all the wonderful people who have emailed me regarding my ADQ article. I have received so many nice compliments and truly appreciate each and every one of them!

P.S. I won't be posting any photos for a while....I just mailed off my camera to Kodak for repairs.....they assured me a 7-10 day turnaround so I am keeping my fingers crossed!
 

Halloween Fairy...Starlight Twinkles

Starlight Twinkles protects the pumpkin patch at night from marauding scarecrows and pumpkin tossing hobgoblins. With her bat-like wings, she fllits and flutters soundlessly over her pumpkins ever watchful......This one has been sold but there will be more Starlights in my etsy shop soon.......
